Day after day and through the history, journalism has known a bunch of changes all around the globe
And we can observe this kind of changes in our arabic societies too. Some of them added a large positive value on the dynamism of the arabic communities and thoughts
People in these countries became more able to talk with all sort of freedom. moreover a chance has been opened for them to express their minds…The national mass media in those countries have spared no effort to promote these ideologies, aiming at stereotyping the public opinion
However, the question here is : Is the press in the arabic countries really free? As a journalists , we all know that there is no
freedom in this field
Journalists are shackled to write, to express, to transmit circumstances , facts and general informations. And in case of their
liberation from such censorship they could be automatically handcuffed or being puted between fore hard wals of a cell, in some countries
Sometimes even national, neither international organisations of human rights and public freedoms cannot save their lives and stay anable to protect their rights of expression
So that we cannot talk about progress , growth or development without a democracy, equaty and freedom in our arabic countries or even in western nations. Certainly, we cannot deny that this freedom will governed by the superior law and the constitutions
However without exploitation of legal gaps. From this tribune I want to say on behalf of the journalists of the world , we sincerely hope to be able to practice our jobs peacefully and with respect to the professional ethics
